Today marks the inception of this blog and the one year anniversary of this born-and-raised Texan moving to the Midwest! I came to the Midwest after graduating from Texas A&M University when I accepted a job offer with Monsanto. With no previous experience in row crop production, the past year has been quite the learning curve!
I created this blog because I’ve become increasingly aware of misinformation that is being spread about agriculture and companies like mine. As a consumer myself, I share the same concerns as everyone else about the quality and safety of our food. While I believe we all have the right to chose what we eat, I hope those choices are informed by fact and not based on fear.
My goal with this blog is simply to share my experiences in agriculture and moving to the Midwest. I’m not an expert by any means, but I’m learning and want to invite you on my journey. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to me! I look forward to connecting.
